SCAA to host training workshops at MICE 2015
Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) is running training workshops at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE2015), on at the Melbourne Showgrounds, 13 – 15 March.
The SCAA has engaged Danes Specialty Coffee as its education partner to assist with the schedule, which includes operating four classrooms concurrently.
Danes will run the espresso workshops, including Introduction to Espresso, Espresso Variations, and Efficiency.
The SCAA is also partnering with Wilbur Curtis to supply filter coffee brewing equipment for the classes. Both Danes and Curtis are supplying qualified instructors for the workshops.
Sebastian Shearman and Daniel Min will conduct the Danes assisted training. The SCAA will run Instructor Development, Orientation to Cupping, Green Grading, Filter Coffee, Le Nez du Café, SCAA Cupping Form and Peer Calibration, Golden Cup Analysis and Barista Level 1 and 2 classes, in addition to the Espresso classes.
