Attention roasters!
Entries are now open to enter for the 2018 Australian International Coffee Awards (AICA).
Conducted by The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV), entries for the AICA competition will close on 21 February, 2018.
This year, more than 800 coffee entries were received from over 180 exhibitors, including coffees from New Zealand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Singapore, Canada, the United States and United Kingdom.
The competition offers entrants the opportunity to benchmark their products against industry standards, receive feedback from independent industry experts, market their coffee with a seal of quality, and gain access to an exclusive medal winners’ marketing and promotions toolkit.
With a hospitality career spanning more than 20 years, William Angliss Institute Coffee Academy Teacher Coordinator, Melissa Caia, will once again guide an expert judging panel as Head Judge. Judging of all competition entries will take place from 7 to 9 March, 2018 at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
The trophy winners to be announced on Wednesday 21 March, 2018 ahead of the commencement of the Melbourne International Coffee Expo from 22 to 24 March.
Coffee roasters are encouraged to get their entries in early to be part of this prestigious competition.
