Scouting ST. ALi
We caught up with ST. ALi to find out why checking in at their South Melbourne café is a must for anyone visiting MICE2020!
South Melbourne has been home to ST. ALi for over a decade and a half and they love it. The South Melbourne Market is around the corner, friends and family are neighbours, and they’re just a short tram trip from the city. What’s not to love?
MICE: Why should people visit ST. ALi while they’re in Melbourne?
We’re an institutional specialty coffee venue in Melbourne, if not internationally. Come check out where the EK43 gained prominence and coffee shots were born, the home of My Mexican Cousin, and the future of coffee with the ST. ALi Cellar Project.
MICE: Why is MICE important to ST. ALi?
As a yearly event, MICE has always been the place for us to catch up with our extended specialty coffee family, support those competing, and showcase what we do best—great coffee matched with great food. MICE allows us the opportunity to showcase our growth each year while also the freedom to flex our creativity through what we offer throughout the event.
MICE: Are there any other Melbourne cafes or venues that serve ST. ALi that people should also check out while they’re here for MICE?
A short walk from the Convention Centre you can find Mercedes me, on the corner of Collins and King Street in the CBD, serving up ST. ALi all week long. We partnered with Mercedes-Benz to open their Australia first ‘Mercedes me’ concept store, joining only 11 other Mercedes me locations worldwide. This collaboration combines the successful innovation and creativity of both companies to establish a distinctive cafe and events space. We’ve also brought our unique brand to Melbourne International Airport, so for all our international guests visiting, be sure to grab a lingering flavour of Melbourne coffee culture as you leave.
