The Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) is proud to announce that the Australian Restaurant and Café Association (ARCA) has come on board as an official Association Partner.

ARCA represents the interests of more than 56,000 restaurants and cafés across Australia, advocating on workforce, taxation, training and productivity issues on behalf of the hospitality sector. With café owners the central audience of MICE, ARCA’s partnership with MICE gives the event a stronger, more direct line to decision makers, reinforcing the event’s position as the place where café owners come to make real purchasing decisions. For exhibitors, it means a sharper, more qualified audience on the show floor.

Wes Lambert, ARCA CEO, spoke to how valuable the partnership is for ARCA members.

“Our members are running businesses on tight margins, and they need events that translate into real decisions and education. This partnership means ARCA members walking into MICE know it’s been shaped with their business front of mind, from the exhibitors on the floor, the Café Owners Education Series and the GCR Symposium to the conversations they’ll have,” Lambert said.

Lambert also spoke to the strength of MICE as a dedicated coffee trade event.

“MICE has always been the place where the coffee industry does business, and this partnership sharpens that. It’s a stronger, more direct link between the expo and the people actually making purchasing decisions in cafés across the country, and that’s great for everyone on the show floor,” he said.

The Melbourne International Coffee Expo is Australia’s leading event for the international coffee industry, bringing together roasters, café owners, baristas and suppliers from across Australia and the Pacific each year.

MICE 2027 will take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 4-6 March 2027, connecting exhibitors with the café owners and operators who drive purchasing decisions across the industry.
