COVID-19 Information

MICE2021 is committed to ensuring the safety of all attendees and exhibitors.

Upon entering the venue you must comply with the Victorian Government COVID-safe policies. Temperature must be below 37.5 degrees Celsius and will be checked upon entrance. You will be refused entry if you have any COVID symptoms.

You will be required to check in to MICE using the Victorian Government QR code, on display at the door. Upon entering the venue you must sanitise your hands as well as practicing social distancing.


I bought a ticket to MICE2020. Is my ticket still valid for the new dates in 2021?

Yes! Your ticket will still allow you to enter the re-scheduled expo.


Will the World Barista Championships and World Brewers Cup still be run during the revised MICE dates?

The 2021 World Barista Championship will be held in Athens, as the tender was awarded well ahead of COVID. However, MICE2021 will be hosting the Australia’s Richest Barista competition – a brand new exciting competition. 

Do I need to wear a mask? 

MICE2021 will continue to follow all Victorian Government guidelines, including  with regards to mask wearing.


Will the event be subject to contract tracing? 

Yes, everyone will have to check in to the venue for efficient contract tracing.


What happens if MICE2021 can’t go ahead? 

If MICE2021 can not proceed, attendees will be able to claim a full refund.
