Sensory Lab will be bringing their Brew Bar back to MICE for 2017. We sat down with General Manager Ross Quail to talk his favourite ocean oasis, the importance of family and perfect coffee with some of the best in the business.
MICE: How do you wind down after a busy day at Sensory Lab?
Ross Quail: A quick surf and or swim followed by a family meal and catching up with their day.
MICE: Where do you find your inspiration?
RQ: Often over chatting with staff around a cupping bowl or sharing where we’ve eaten or travelled lately. We have a super talented team of coffee professionals that push the limits everyday.
MICE: What’s your favourite destination and why?
RQ: I’ve loved travelling around the world over the years. For food, Istanbul was fantastic for seafood and Tokyo was a standout for high end Tepanyaki. That said I always love going home to my childhood home in Anglesea for Mum’s food and a surf with the kids.
MICE: What three words would you use to describe Sensory Lab?
RQ: Coffee Made Perfect
