Jimmy Tjoeng is the co-founder and Head Roaster of Vacation Coffee, based in Melbourne, Australia. Originally from Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, he moved to Perth, Australia in 2002 to pursue studies, completing degrees in Science and Commerce (Management).
After relocating to Melbourne in 2008, Jimmy immersed himself in the city’s renowned coffee culture. Having enjoyed coffee from a young age, he soon began his professional coffee journey, gaining experience at Sensory Lab and Pillar of Salt before opening his first café, Little Chloe Cafe, in 2012In 2016, Jimmy co-founded Vacation Coffee, opening the flagship Vacation Café in 2017, where he now oversees roastery and operations.
