He is a certified World Brewers Cup judge and currently serves as an ASCA National Brewers Cup Sensory Judge, contributing to the highest standards of competition in Australia and beyond. As Director of KL Specialty Coffee Lab, Karl works as an instructor and consultant, helping professionals refine their sensory and brewing skills. He is also an SCA Authorized Specialty Coffee Association Trainer (AST), dedicated to developing the next generation of coffee professionals.
